The Florida Lighthouse Association’s (FLA) mission is to safeguard Florida’s remaining lighthouses for future generations by supporting community based restoration, preservation and education efforts.  Gifts from individuals like these makes that possible!

FLA recognizes donors for annual gifts made aUGUST 1ST THRU dECEMBER 31ST (17 mONTHS)     

LUMEN SOCIETY  ~ recognizes donors who make gifts of $250 or more

$250 can pay for two classrooms from transportation and program costs for a local school to have a field trip to a lighthouse and learn about Florida maritime history and the importance of preservation.

PRISM SOCIETY ~ recognizes donors who make gifts of $1,000 or more
$1,000 can purchase enough specialized marine paint to allow a volunteer to completely cover an historic building or provide a day of ground penetrating radar to aid archaeologists in their discovery of artifacts located on lighthouse grounds.

FRESNEL SOCIETY  ~ recognizes donors who make gifts of $5,000 or more
$5,000 can help a volunteer preservationist strip and repaint a historic building.
 

TOWER SOCIETY ~ recognizes donors who make gifts of $10,000 or more
$10,000 will enable a trained volunteer to completely restore an antique lens system or provide a roof for an historic out building such as an oil house, or wash room.
